Senior Designer
FORGE is seeking a Senior Designer with the vision and leadership to shape exceptional workplace environments. This role blends conceptual design talent with team mentorship, client engagement, and technical oversight. Responsibilities
- Lead the full design process: visioning through construction
- Oversee programming, space planning, and FF&E development
- Direct internal teams and guide design deliverables
- Present ideas and advocate design concepts to clients
- Mentor junior staff and review team work for quality
- Participate in stakeholder interviews and strategy sessions
- Support drawing documentation, technical detailing, and submittal reviews
- Collaborate on budget, schedules, and project performance
- Help win new work by participating in proposal and interview efforts
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in commercial interior architecture
- Expertise in design development, space planning, and stakeholder alignment
- Strong ability to manage projects and lead design teams
- Deep knowledge of building systems, codes, and technical documentation
- Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office
- Confidence in client-facing roles and internal mentoring
- Ability to balance big-picture vision with precise execution
