HomeFirst Home Healthcare provides quality home health care to thousands of individuals in the state of Tennessee. We are growing and looking to add a LPN Home Health Scheduler to our home health team at our McMinnville, Tennessee office. This is a Monday thru Friday, on-site position.

The LPN Home Health Scheduler will coordinate and maintain staff and client schedules to ensure all client needs are met daily. The LPN Home Health Scheduler coordinates all referrals including notification of insurance providers of prior authorization and service coverage; schedules patient visits according to care plans, verifies timesheets with schedules, prepares missed visit forms to physicians and managed care organizations; and assists management in day-to-day staffing and other administrative support services.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Prior home health agency and medical scheduling experience required
  • Microsoft Office and scheduling software computer skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and strong data entry skills
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
