Tax Manager- Construction & Real Estate

Hybrid | Baltimore, MD area


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years of public accounting tax experience.
  • Strong experience preparing and reviewing corporate, partnership, individual, trust, and estate tax returns.
  • Experience with tax planning, consulting, and resolving complex tax matters.
  • CPA license preferred or in progress
  • Proficiency with tax and accounting software.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A collaborative leadership style and a passion for mentoring others.



RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing tax compliance, consulting, and planning engagements for individuals and privately held businesses.
  • Preparing and reviewing complex tax returns, with an emphasis on pass-through entities.
  • Identifying tax-saving opportunities and advising clients on strategies that align with their goals.
  • Building strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.
  • Collaborating with senior leadership on client strategy, engagement planning, and business development initiatives.
  • Supervising, mentoring, and developing staff while reviewing their work and supporting their professional growth.
  • Managing multiple engagements simultaneously while ensuring quality and meeting deadlines.
  • Staying current on changing tax laws and advising clients on how new legislation may impact their businesses.
  • Participating in networking and relationship-building opportunities to expand your professional network and contribute to business growth.
  • Helping foster a collaborative, team-oriented environment built on integrity, continuous learning, and outstanding client service.
