Tax Manager- Construction & Real Estate
Hybrid | Baltimore, MD area
QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of public accounting tax experience.
- Strong experience preparing and reviewing corporate, partnership, individual, trust, and estate tax returns.
- Experience with tax planning, consulting, and resolving complex tax matters.
- CPA license preferred or in progress
- Proficiency with tax and accounting software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A collaborative leadership style and a passion for mentoring others.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing tax compliance, consulting, and planning engagements for individuals and privately held businesses.
- Preparing and reviewing complex tax returns, with an emphasis on pass-through entities.
- Identifying tax-saving opportunities and advising clients on strategies that align with their goals.
- Building strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.
- Collaborating with senior leadership on client strategy, engagement planning, and business development initiatives.
- Supervising, mentoring, and developing staff while reviewing their work and supporting their professional growth.
- Managing multiple engagements simultaneously while ensuring quality and meeting deadlines.
- Staying current on changing tax laws and advising clients on how new legislation may impact their businesses.
- Participating in networking and relationship-building opportunities to expand your professional network and contribute to business growth.
- Helping foster a collaborative, team-oriented environment built on integrity, continuous learning, and outstanding client service.
