Job DescriptionJob Overview:
- Support laboratory operations by preparing materials, performing experiments, and maintaining equipment and workspace.
- Execute protein expression and purification tasks while ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to safety standards.
- Contribute to process improvements and maintain a clean, efficient, and safe laboratory environment.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all materials required for experiments are prepared safely and on time.
- Perform routine lab support tasks including cleaning, maintenance, and inventory management.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Perform protein expression and purification.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date laboratory notes in required formats or systems.
- Troubleshoot experimental processes as needed.
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment.
- Identify and support implementation of process improvement opportunities.
Requirements/Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
- Strong wet-lab skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- High attention to detail and ability to stay focused.
- Experience in problem identification, problem-solving, and process improvement.
- Self-motivated with a strong commitment to learning and growth.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Should Have:
- Experience in protein purification or molecular biology.
- Experience with solution preparation.
- Knowledge of recombinant protein expression.
- Experience with phage display.
