• New hospital leadership investing in improving physician and patient experiences\t
• Change in hospitalist coverage with dedicated rounding and admitting shifts to maximize efficiency and work-life balance\t
• Level 1 Trauma Center, 590 beds\t
• 7 on; 7off scheduling for full-time\t
• cheduling Model:\t

  • 5 Physicians, 3 NP/PA rounding 7a-7p\t
  • 1 Physician Admitter 7a-7p\t
  • 1 Physician Nocturnist 7p-7a\t
  • 1 NPPA Nocturnist 5p-5a (admissions and cross coverage calls)\t

• Open ICU with Intensivist on site 24/7\t
• SCP also manages the Critical Care Program\t
• No procedures required\t
• Providers respond to rapid responses with Intensivist backup available 24/7\t
• Full-time physicians and NPPAs are employed with benefits\t

• Qualifications:\t

  • Physicians must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine\t
  • Medical Director Candidates must have:\t
  • A minimum of one year of Medical Leadership experience\t
  • Proven leadership experience in a healthcare setting\t
  • Strong clinical and communication skills\t
  • Experience in quality improvement and performance management\t
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills\t
  • Passion for patient care and a commitment to continuous improvement\t
  • AGACNP certification required for NPs\t
  • NPs and PAs must have at least 1 year of HM experience\t
  • Lead NPPA candidates must have at least 1 year of leadership experience\t
