Salary: $1,200–$1,400 per week
About the Role
CK Transportation is seeking dedicated Class A CDL drivers to join our nationwide operations. Our drivers excel in performance-driven roles that balance efficient on-road productivity with predictable home time. Based in Laredo, Texas, we offer structured 12-day operational cycles with every other weekend 48-hour resets, supporting both professional growth and work-life balance.
Job Responsibilities
Drivers are responsible for completing haul distances averaging 700–750 miles per trip, using strategic route planning to optimize efficiency. They operate no-touch freight and follow drop and hook procedures designed to maximize driving time while minimizing delays. Drivers maintain strict adherence to safety and operational standards to ensure timely delivery of freight. Equipment flexibility is offered, allowing drivers to take their trucks home or park at designated terminals. New drivers participate in a comprehensive onboarding program with full coverage for travel, meals, and single-person accommodations.
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a valid Class A CDL and have at least three months of recent tractor-trailer experience. Professionalism, punctuality, and a performance-focused work ethic are essential for success in this role.
Equipment and Schedule
CK Transportation drivers operate modern fleet vehicles, including Freightliner, Kenworth, International, and Volvo trucks with automatic transmissions. Trucks are equipped with APUs, 1500-watt inverters, refrigerators, TV mounts, and microwave mounts to enhance comfort and efficiency. The 12-day operational cycles across the U.S. provide predictable home time while supporting high productivity.
