Job DescriptionA local manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Engineer to oversee and enhance service operations across a national field services organization. This role blends technical expertise, operational oversight, and relationship management to drive continuous improvement and ensure alignment with industry standards.
What You’ll Do

Manage supplier and contractor qualifications, contracts, and performance audits.

Lead investigations into reported quality issues, driving root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with service standards and regulatory requirements.

Monitor and report on quality metrics, including cost of poor quality and rework.

Collaborate with technical teams to refine quality control processes and reduce defects.

Provide training and mentorship to field technicians on best practices.

Deliver monthly KPI reports to senior leadership.
What You Bring
-
Strong background in quality assurance, field service operations, and process improvement.

Familiarity with audit procedures, supplier scorecards, and compliance frameworks.

Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

Ability to lead change and influence cross-functional teams.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort working in fast-paced environments.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field. Also open to consider an Associate’s degree with 4+ years of Quality experience.

2+ years in a quality systems or QA role within industrial or service environments.

Preferred: Six Sigma or ASQ certification.

Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $94,000.00 per year
