Position Title: Rehabilitation Physical Therapist – Inpatient Setting
Location: Hyannis, MA 02601
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation services for adult and pediatric patients. The role focuses on restoring function, preventing disability, and improving patient outcomes through evidence-based physical therapy practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate new patients and establish measurable, functional treatment goals
  • Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient progress
  • Perform diagnostic assessments including muscle, nerve, joint, and functional ability testing
  • Administer therapeutic modalities and reassess patients regularly
  • Document patient care, progress, education, and interdisciplinary communications accurately
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for care coordination and discharge planning
  • Educate patients and families on therapeutic procedures for continued care at home
  • Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants, aides, and student interns as required
  • Contribute to quality improvement, safety standards, and departmental initiatives
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and continuing education programs
  • Maintain daily statistical and billing records
  • Provide service excellence aligned with organizational care standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active Physical Therapist license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)

Clinical Specialist (If Applicable)

  • Must hold documented Specialist Certification in relevant clinical area
  • Provides advanced clinical expertise and supports program development
  • Assists leadership in planning and supervising specialty rehabilitation services
