Shift: 1st Shift | Monday – Friday

Position Overview
The Machinist I is responsible for setting up and operating CNC and manual machining equipment to produce precision components that meet quality, safety, and production requirements. This role works closely with machinists and machine technicians while following established programs and work instructions.
Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment

Read and interpret blueprints, BOMs, and work instructions

Select tooling, fixtures, and materials for production runs

Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring tools

Adjust machine offsets, feeds, speeds, and tooling as needed

Troubleshoot machining issues and support process improvements

Complete production documentation accurately

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Follow all safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures
Qualifications
-
0–3+ years of machining experience in a manufacturing environment

Experience operating CNC mills and/or lathes
-
Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings

Experience using calipers, micrometers, indicators, and other precision measuring tools

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
-
Basic math and dimensional calculation abilities

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications

Technical degree or machining certification preferred

Previous manufacturing experience required

CNC setup experience
-
Recent graduates from machining programs encouraged to apply

Pay Details: $21.00 per hour
