Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated ESL Teacher to join the team at the Islamic Center of Detroit. As an ESL Teacher, you will be responsible for providing high-quality English language instruction to students of varying ages and backgrounds. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of individuals and make a positive impact on their lives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the needs and goals of the students
- Teach English language skills, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing, to students
- Assess students' progress and provide feedback to help them improve their language skills
- Communicate regularly with students to provide updates on progress and address any concerns
Qualifications:
- Relevant teaching experience (ESL experience preferred)
- Knowledge of second language acquisition theories and teaching methodologies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to adapt to the needs and schedules of students
