Position Overview:
We are seeking a Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) to serve as a Group Home Manager for one of our residential facilities. In this dual-role position, you will provide direct care, oversee daily operations, and lead a team of Direct Support Professionals. You'll work directly with residents who may have co-occurring mental health diagnoses, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met through individualized treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct psychiatric and behavioral health support to residents with developmental disabilities and co-occurring mental illness.

Supervise daily operations of the home, including staff scheduling, medication administration, and coordination of care.

Administer and monitor prescribed medications, documenting and reporting side effects or concerns to medical professionals.

Develop and implement individualized care plans, conducting assessments and evaluations to ensure evolving needs are met.

Serve as a liaison with families, day programs, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive and person-centered care.

Oversee and mentor Direct Support Staff, modeling best practices in crisis prevention, communication, and person-first care.

Ensure compliance with Title 17/Title 22 regulations, licensing requirements, and internal quality standards.

Promote community integration through recreational, vocational, and therapeutic activities.

Requirements:
-
Active California Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) license
-
Minimum 1 year experience in behavioral health, mental health, or developmental disabilities preferred

Ability to read and write in English

Able to lift at least 50 pounds and perform physical job duties

Must pass a criminal background check
