Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for night shifts in a Level IV trauma critical access hospital with ARRT and BLS certifications required.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Position is based in a Level IV trauma, acute care medical center with long-term care and outpatient services
- Night shift schedule is Friday through Sunday, 5:00 PM to 5:30 AM, with 2-3 hours of on-call at the end of each shift
- Assignment is 13 weeks in duration
- Care is provided to adult acute care and emergency room patient populations
- Clinicians must float within scope to cover X-ray when needed
- Epic EMR is used and charting experience is required
- Clinicians may be required to float to affiliate hospitals within the state as needed
- Patient beds include 46 acute care beds and 22 long-term care beds
- Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state as necessary
- Will be responsible for covering X-ray within scope when needed
- Facility provides free housing in a single bedroom apartment and a rental vehicle for the duration of the assignment; pets are not allowed and family accommodation must be approved in advance
- Scrub color is flexible or business casual attire is acceptable
- Must be willing to work two of the three major holidays during assignment
- Facility only accepts Hepatitis B vaccination, not titers or declinations
- Travelers may only work up to one year and then must take a six-month break before returning
- Permanent staff must be separated from the facility for at least three months before returning as a traveler
- Housing and vehicle are available no earlier than 72 hours before the contract starts and no longer than 24 hours after it ends
- Pre-assignment online modules are required and must be completed prior to start

- Current ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required
- Current BLS certification required
- Experience in adult acute care and emergency room settings required
- New graduates and first-time travelers will be considered
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
- Holiday coverage required for at least 2 of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must provide two supervisory references covering at least one year in a comparable setting
- License required if applicable
- Valid driver's license and personal vehicle insurance with rental car coverage required if utilizing facility-provided vehicle
