We’re seeking a Patient Registration Specialist to join a growing healthcare team in an overnight capacity. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, adaptable, and energized by fast-paced work while delivering calm, professional, and respectful service to patients and visitors.
In this role, you will manage front-end patient access activities, including gathering and validating patient information, confirming coverage, documenting visit details, and assisting with point-of-service financial responsibilities. Your work directly supports accurate billing, regulatory compliance, and seamless coordination of care. - Minimum 6 months of healthcare experience or 1 year of customer service experience
- Prior medical or healthcare registration experience strongly preferred
- EMR experience is a major plus (Workday preferred; EPIC proficiency required)
- Ability to pass:
- 2-week training
- EPIC proficiency test
- Basic understanding of insurance, medical terminology, and billing codes (DRG, ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS) preferred
- Strong keyboarding and data entry skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- CHAA, CHAM, or equivalent certification preferred
