Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team in Millville, New Jersey. This long-term contract position is ideal for an organized and detail-oriented individual who excels in managing financial records and reconciling accounts. You will play a key role in ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations while supporting day-to-day bookkeeping tasks.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely reconciliation of accounts.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with precision.
• Perform bank reconciliations to verify and validate financial data.
• Handle payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Conduct month-end close procedures, including reviewing and adjusting entries.
• Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel to manage bookkeeping tasks and analyze financial data.
• Support data entry and ensure all financial information is properly documented.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries for management review.
• Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency in financial operations.• Proven experience in bookkeeping with a strong understanding of financial principles.
• Proficiency in account reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Skilled in performing bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Familiarity with payroll processing and month-end close procedures.
• Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle large volumes of data entry.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
