Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school located in Nellis AFB, NV, is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive services to students. This contract position offers both full-time and part-time options, with 20-40 hours per week available. The role involves supporting students throughout the entire process, including assessments, report writing, and participation in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough speech and language assessments for K-12 students
- Writing detailed reports reflecting student progress and needs
- Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective intervention plans
- Attending regular staff meetings to coordinate care and share insights
- Supporting students consistently throughout their educational journey
Desired qualifications:
- Nevada DOE Speech Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in school-based speech pathology preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
