\n\nJob Requirements – Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS/RCS)\n

- Minimum 2 years of current experience as a registered echocardiography/cardiac sonographer (cardiac ultrasound experience required)\n
- Completion of an accredited non-invasive cardiovascular training program with a focus in echocardiography\n
- Completion of a recognized course in arrhythmia detection\n
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification required\n
- CPR certification (AHA or ARC accepted)\n
- Proven ability to perform high-quality, complete echocardiogram studies (TTE image acquisition, Doppler assessment)\n
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong patient interaction and customer service for hospital patients\n
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accurate documentation for medical records\n
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team\n
- Demonstrated technical skills and clinical judgment to function unsupervised in a fast-paced hospital environment\n

- Perform high-quality echocardiogram studies (cardiac ultrasound) in a hospital-based noninvasive cardiology unit\n
- Acquire diagnostic images and perform Doppler assessments, ensuring quality assurance and adherence to departmental protocols\n
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and maintain patient confidentiality at all times\n
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and clinical decision support\n
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and electronic medical record (EMR) entries in accordance with hospital policies\n
- Provide excellent patient education, comfort, and interpersonal communication with patients and staff\n
- Manage time efficiently to meet clinical demands and ensure smooth workflow during high-volume periods\n
