Job Description:

• Skilled Low-Voltage Installation Technician

You Are:

• A trustworthy individual. Hungry to learn and grow. Hands-on and love being in the field as opposed to being behind a desk. Technically inclined and always curious how things work.

You Have:

• Experience on construction sites. Ability to climb ladders, pull cabling, use power tools & hand tools. A steady work history (3yrs between hops), a pleasant disposition, Hiqh EQ.

Your Schedule:

• Hours Per Week: 40 Hours Per Week
• Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm

Your Contribution to Echo Workshop:

• Read and interpret floor plans and technical documents
• Pull/Terminate/Test Low-Voltage Cabling (Category, Fiber, Speaker, Lutron)
• Mount devices at the ends of those wires (AV/Network/Control/Lighting/Shading)
• Build and lace equipment racks
• Advanced setup and configuration of devices
• Advanced understanding of networks
• Advanced troubleshooting of devices
• Programming of Lutron/Control4/Crestron/Savant/Vantage
• Train clients on use of systems
• Speak Spanish (not required)

What We're Looking For:

• 3+ yrs experience working in Resi/Commercial AV
• Retrofit Skills: Mastery of sheetrock cutting and wire fishing techniques.
• Low voltage cabling wizard
• Self motivated w/ passion for Custom Electronics
• Attitude for learning & Personal Growth

Echo Workshop's Contribution to You:

• $35/hr-$50/hr – Yup!
