Overview
Landmark Foundation Group is seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead and optimize the company’s accounts payable function. This role requires a strong multitasker with 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience and demonstrated management responsibility.
The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and innovative, with the ability to streamline processes, strengthen vendor partnerships, and support operational excellence in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the full-cycle accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing
- Lead, supervise, and develop AP team members, ensuring accountability and high performance
- Manage vendor relationships, including onboarding, communication, issue resolution, and payment coordination
- Implement process improvements and automation initiatives to streamline and enhance AP workflows
- Ensure proper coding and allocation of expenses in alignment with job costing and project requirements
- Monitor invoice approvals and maintain organized documentation for audit readiness
- Reconcile AP subledger to the general ledger and support month-end close activities
- Oversee weekly check runs, ACH payments, and vendor payment scheduling
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and 1099 reporting requirements
- Analyze aging reports and proactively address discrepancies or outstanding items
- Collaborate cross-functionally with project managers, operations, and finance leadership
Qualifications
- 8–10 years of accounting experience, with significant experience in accounts payable
- Previous management or supervisory experience required
- Construction industry experience preferred
- Experience with Viewpoint Spectrum a plus, but not required
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proven ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
- Innovative mindset with demonstrated process improvement experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of integrity and professionalism in handling confidential information
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $65,000 – $70,000, based on experience
