Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This role offers an opportunity to provide essential occupational therapy support within a K-12 school environment. Serving a diverse caseload of 56 students, including 43 direct and 13 consult cases, the position involves working with school-aged children across multiple buildings. The assignment is a leave coverage contract lasting from November 24, 2025, through March 2, 2026, with a commitment of 32.5 hours per week. While onsite work is preferred, virtual candidates will also be considered.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Michigan Occupational Therapist license required
- Prior school-based occupational therapy experience highly preferred
- Strong skills in pediatric therapy with the ability to address various educational and developmental needs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff

Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs in a school-based setting
- Manage and balance a caseload that includes both direct therapy and consultative services
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with school personnel to support student success and promote inclusive educational practices
- Maintain thorough documentation and comply with school district policies and state regulations
