Job Description
The General Production Worker supports the final finishing of windows before shipment in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role involves marking, taping, cleaning, wrapping, labeling, and safely moving windows across the production floor while protecting glass and frames from damage. The position is physically demanding, requiring frequent lifting or team lifting of 50–75 pounds, strong attention to detail, and prior production experience to ensure products meet quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Finish windows prior to shipment by carefully marking, taping, cleaning, wrapping, and labeling products according to production specifications.
- Move windows and related materials throughout the production floor while ensuring no damage occurs to glass, frames, or finished surfaces.
- Perform general production, assembly, and packaging tasks to support continuous workflow and meet production targets.
- Use hand tools and tape measures accurately to complete finishing, assembly, and inspection tasks.
- Inspect windows and materials for defects or quality issues and report any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Pack and prepare products for shipment, ensuring all items are properly secured and labeled.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines when handling heavy materials and operating within the production area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient production and safe operations.
- Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality to support consistent production schedules.
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete team lifts of 50–75 pounds and safely handle large or awkward items.
Essential Skills
- Proven experience in production, general labor, assembly, or general production roles.
- Ability to consistently lift or team lift 50–75 pounds in a safe and controlled manner.
- Strong attention to detail when marking, taping, cleaning, wrapping, labeling, and inspecting products.
- Experience with packaging, packing, and preparing products for shipment.
- Ability to use hand tools safely and effectively in a production environment.
- Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and ability to follow safety procedures at all times.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality to support production schedules.
- Physical fitness to work on feet for extended periods and handle physically demanding tasks.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume production setting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Prior experience in window manufacturing, finishing, or similar industrial production is a plus.
- Experience with inspection and quality control processes in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn production processes and standards.
- Comfort working with heavy materials and large products in a busy production facility.

Work Environment
This role is based in a large production facility where heavy materials move continuously throughout the day. The work is physically demanding and involves standing, walking, lifting, and team lifting windows and related materials weighing 50–75 pounds. The environment is fast-paced, with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. You will regularly use hand tools and tape measures and work in close coordination with other team members on the production floor. Steel toe boots are required as part of the dress code to ensure safety while handling heavy materials and working around industrial equipment.

This is a Contract position based out of Fife, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
