We are seeking an accomplished Sous Chef to assist the kitchen of our Southern fine dining restaurant. This role is ideal for a disciplined, creative chef who respects Southern culinary traditions while executing refined, modern cuisine at the highest level.
The Chef de Cuisine will be responsible for day-to-day kitchen leadership, culinary execution, and team development, while collaborating closely with the executive chef, ownership and senior leadership to uphold our standards of excellence.
Responsibilities:

Execute and evolve a Southern-inspired fine dining menu with consistency and creativity

Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and flavor

Train, mentor, and develop a professional kitchen team

Oversee ordering, inventory control, food cost, and labor management

Enforce food safety, sanitation, and health department compliance

Collaborate on seasonal menus, specials, and tasting events

Foster a culture of accountability, respect, and pride in craftsmanship
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Sous Chef, or comparable leadership role

Strong background in Southern cuisine and/or fine dining environments

Exceptional organizational and leadership skills

Ability to thrive in a high-standards, high-volume service setting

Strong financial acumen with food and labor cost controls

Passion for mentoring young chefs and building strong teams
