Key Qualifications:
- Current Maryland certification as a School Psychologist (required)
- Experience conducting assessments, evaluations, and implementing interventions within a school setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, parents, and school staff
- Ability to maintain comprehensive and confidential student records
- Commitment to ethical and culturally responsive practices
Essential Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to identify student needs and recommend tailored interventions
- Provide direct counseling and support to students individually or in groups
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor student IEPs and 504 plans
- Consult with teachers and administrators to promote a positive learning environment
- Work proactively to design and deliver prevention and crisis intervention programs as needed
