The Graphic Designer
role is focused on creating engaging and original content to bring the Lucky Goat Coffee brand to life.
From concept to execution, this individual will be at
forefront of brand development for both internal departments and our growing digital customer base. The ideal candidate must be highly detailed, organized, and eager to work in a quickly growing fast-paced company. This is a one-of-a-kind experience to be at the helm of a beloved brand coming to life!
The
Graphic Designer reports to the Senior Graphic Designer and works on the Branding team in a collaborative,
passionate environment.
This is a full-time position based in Tallahassee, FL.
Requirements
- BA/BS in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a graphic designer showcased in a submitted portfolio. The portfolio should show a full range of design capabilities from the smallest, detailed pieces to fully executed campaigns.
- Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop is an absolute must.
- Strong knowledge of design elements and principles with a keen eye for composition, color, graphics, and visual design.
- Ability to manage multiple ongoing tasks at one time through excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Energetic and dedicated to see tasks through to execution. Demonstrates a deep understanding that each design strengthens and enhances our brand further.
- Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative and team-focused work environment.
- Relentless on maintaining exceptionally high creative standards.
- Awareness of industry trends with the ability to turn them into brand-consistent creative concepts and designs.
- Ability to communicate why creative decisions were made along with being flexible when design pivots need to be made.
- Inspire new ways of thinking, using fresh and unique approaches to design problems.
- Email newsletter, website digital design experiences
a must.
- Experience in the coffee or food and beverage industry is a major plus.
Job Description
- Lead design projects from initial concept through final execution, delivering visual, web, print, and branded assets for our corporate cafs and digital platforms.
- Develop color palettes, patterns, and illustrative concepts for physical products in partnership with the Product Development and Branding teams.
- Support the creation of original retail merchandise to be sold across our cafs and e-commerce channels.
- Produce digital assets that drive engagement and performance across social media, email newsletters, paid advertising, and other marketing formats.
- Collaborate with internal teams on copywriting needs, ensuring a cohesive and consistent brand voice across all creative materials.
- Elevate the creative direction of the brand through photography, seasonal campaigns, product design, and marketing initiatives.
- Develop new marketing
collateral and refine existing materials for assigned departments while partnering closely with cross-functional teams to maintain brand consistency.
- Oversee the development of corporate marketing and sales support materials for the Lucky Goat Coffee brand.
- Assist in establishing best practices, tools, and processes to enhance creative team efficiency.
- Research industry trends and design innovations, incorporating relevant insights into the Lucky Goat brand.
