Essential Functions & Responsibilities:


  • Clinical Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Attune to what the client is not explicitly stating to help foster profound deeper healing. Maintain connection and growth with Clients by communicating the importance of weekly sessions.
  • Therapeutic Interventions: Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address clients' challenges and promote healing.
  • Outcome Measures: Complete monthly, or quarterly assessment with clients to ensure they are receiving the care they need and are achieving their therapeutic goals.
  • Client Support: Provide empathetic and supportive counseling to help clients build self-confidence, self-awareness, and coping skills.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with the latest research and therapeutic approaches to ensure optimal client care.
  • Evidence Based Training: Complete EMDR Basic Training, or Intermediate Trainings to stay up to date with the latest advances in the clinical research to ensure confidence in helping clients get better fast.
  • Caseload Management: Maintain a caseload of at least 15 clients, and/or gradually increasing to a full caseload of 25 clients.
  • Flexible Scheduling: Create a flexible schedule, including at least two evening shifts per week, to accommodate client needs and balance in-person and telehealth sessions.
  • Documentation: Complete notes through a ready made templates within 48hours, and treatment plans every 6 months to ensure highest standards of best practices.
  • Community Engagement: Opportunities to engage with local professionals and members of the community through outreach and marketing events.

Note: Building a successful practice takes time. Therapists should expect a gradual increase in caseload over the first 3-6 months.




Skills, Abilities & Experience:


Preferred Qualifications

  • Licensure: Fully licensed clinician with 1–3 years of experience providing individual psychotherapy.
  • Specialized Experience: Trauma therapy experience or extensive training in evidence-based treatments is highly preferred.
  • Education: Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.


Interpersonal Skills

  • Empathy and Active Listening: Provide attentive, compassionate listening to ensure clients feel heard and understood.
  • Effective Communication: Build trust and rapport with clients through clear and supportive dialogue.
  • Empowerment Skills: Help clients develop self-confidence, independence, and reflective thinking.
  • Adaptability: Respond flexibly to clients’ evolving needs and challenges in therapy.

Technical Skills

  • Evidence-Based Expertise: Proficiency in trauma therapy or other evidence-based treatments.
  • Treatment Planning: Ability to design and implement personalized therapy plans tailored to each client.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with federal and state regulations governing psychotherapy practice.
  • Theoretical Application: Use of structured therapeutic frameworks to analyze and address clinical situations effectively.

Compensation & Benefits:


What We Offer:

We offer a competitive pay scale ranging from $55 to $95 per client, depending on your level of experience.

  • Newly provisionally licensed therapist (LSW, LAC) starting at $55
  • Provisionally licensed therapist (LSW, LAC) with 1-3 years of individual session clinical experience at $65
  • Fully licensed therapist (LCSW, LPC) ) at $70-95, depending on clinical experience


  • Supportive Environment: Work with a skilled, collaborative team led by EMDR-certified, EMDR-Consultant In Training, DBT Intensively-trained, Yoga Teacher Trained, Meditation Expert as your supervisor and EMDR Trained, EMDR-Certified In Training Psychotherapists as your colleagues.
  • Professional Development: Stipend for EMDR Basic Training and opportunity for EMDR Certification included. Supervision from Jill Portaro, LCSW.
