Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract opportunity is located close to Williamsburg, VA and is ideal for a compassionate OT who thrives working with children and embraces variety in their daily work.

You’ll work with students from kindergarten through 12th grade, supporting their development and helping them succeed in their academic and functional goals. Your week will consist of 37.5 hours, Monday through Friday, across two to three school sites, providing a diverse experience and the chance to collaborate with dedicated educational professionals.

Qualifications:

  • Active Virginia Occupational Therapy license required
  • Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school settings
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Effective communication skills with students, staff, and families
  • Adaptability to different school environments

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to K-12 students
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations according to IEP and student needs
  • Develop and implement personalized intervention plans
  • Maintain detailed and compliant documentation
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student goals
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary IEP meetings
  • Travel between assigned school locations as needed
