Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job Description
As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance with engineering data and customer specifications. You will set up fixtures on CMM machines and execute CMM programs, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Set up fixtures on CMM machines.
- Follow instructions to set parts on CMM machines.
- Perform detailed inspections to ensure compliance with engineering data and customer specifications.
- Read and interpret drawings, batch cards, and operation sheets.
- Execute CMM programs accurately.
- Enter electronic data accurately and communicate findings effectively.
- Evaluate and disposition printed CMM reports.
- Utilize associated measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers.
- Follow procedures for proper start-up and shutdown of all measuring equipment.
- Perform calibration of the CMM.
- Conduct CMM Preventative Maintenance according to SOPs.
- Undertake other responsibilities as required.
Essential Skills
- Experience in inspection, quality control, and quality inspection.
- Proficiency with blueprints, micrometers, and production processes.Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience required.
- General knowledge of aerospace manufacturing and quality inspection desired.
- Familiarity with coordinate measuring machines, inspection methods, and measuring and test equipment highly preferred.
- Proficiency in personal computers and Microsoft software (Word, Excel).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail required.

Work Environment
The work environment is clean and safe, with minimal exposure to excessive noise, dirt, chemicals, extreme temperatures, or hazardous conditions. The role requires frequent use of computers, standing and walking for at least 7 hours per day, and the ability to carry and lift weights up to 25lbs. Bending, squatting, reaching, pushing, and pulling are required for at least 2 hours per day. Use of hands for fine dexterity, light, and strong grasping is required for at least 7 hours per da

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $62400.00/yr.
