As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for the setup and operation of all equipment used to aseptically fill vials. You will gain proficiency in operating various components such as Parts Washer, Component Sterilizer, Depyrogenation Tunnel, Filling Machine, Isolator, Capping Machine, and Lyophilizers within one year of employment.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate equipment used for aseptic vial filling, including Parts Washer, Component Sterilizer, Depyrogenation Tunnel, Filling Machine, Isolator, Capping Machine, and Lyophilizers.
- Perform general housekeeping tasks within the manufacturing area, including daily floor cleaning, weekly wall and floor cleaning, and monthly ceiling, wall, and floor cleaning.
- Execute cleaning and clearance of equipment and rooms before and after batch processing.
- Restock operational supplies and gowning materials in production areas.
- Complete additional tasks as requested by supervisors or Group Leaders.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in machine operation and handling hand tools.
- Experience in general production and packaging processes.
- Ability to navigate computer applications, including logging into HMIs and performing routine trainings.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to use tools like wrenches and screwdrivers.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a mindset focused on loss elimination.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Comfortable with using computer applications for routine training and operations.

Work Environment
The work schedule consists of A and B shifts from 5:45 AM to 6:15 PM, with overtime dependent on business needs. The environment is highly structured, requiring adherence to cleanliness and operational protocols to ensure product quality and safety.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MELROSE PARK, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
