Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a significant impact supporting K-12 students with speech and language needs in a dynamic educational setting. This contract opportunity spans the entire academic year, starting in August 2026 and finishing in June 2027. Working onsite with a diverse caseload, you'll collaborate with educators and families to foster student success.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Hold (or eligibility for) SLP Clinical Fellowship (CF) or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience or strong interest in working with school-aged children (K-12)
- South Carolina SLP licensure (or eligibility) required
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to a varied caseload and work both independently and within multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals according to district guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student outcomes and provide relevant recommendations
- Maintain accurate documentation of services and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school-based activities
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards of the profession
