Minimum 6 months Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Previous paraprofessional, teacher’s aide, or classroom support experience preferred
- Ability to assist in both individual and group settings with patience and understanding
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with students and staff
- Capable of following directions, implementing lesson plans, and adapting to changing needs
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in education is a plus
- Demonstrates empathy, dependability, and a positive attitude
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist students with classwork, reinforcing material introduced by the teacher
- Provide one-on-one or small group support for students needing extra help
- Aid in classroom organization, preparation of learning materials, and maintaining a productive environment
- Support students with special needs according to their IEPs or accommodations
- Monitor student behavior and provide respectful guidance as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and other staff members to support overall student success
