Minimum 6 months Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a positive impact in the classroom by working closely with students and educators as a paraprofessional in a dynamic school environment. Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Previous paraprofessional, teacher’s aide, or classroom support experience preferred
  • Ability to assist in both individual and group settings with patience and understanding
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with students and staff
  • Capable of following directions, implementing lesson plans, and adapting to changing needs
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in education is a plus
  • Demonstrates empathy, dependability, and a positive attitude

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist students with classwork, reinforcing material introduced by the teacher
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support for students needing extra help
  • Aid in classroom organization, preparation of learning materials, and maintaining a productive environment
  • Support students with special needs according to their IEPs or accommodations
  • Monitor student behavior and provide respectful guidance as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and other staff members to support overall student success
