Location: Lenexa, KS
Salary: $90k-$130k
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Superintendent to oversee our concrete operations on various construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while also managing a team of workers and coordinating with other trades.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate concrete operations on construction sites
- Manage and schedule labor resources and equipment needed for concrete projects
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all concrete work
- Collaborate with project managers and other superintendents to align project goals
- Monitor the progress of concrete work and make adjustments as necessary to meet project timelines
- Conduct regular inspections of work to ensure adherence to specifications and company policies
- Provide training and guidance to team members on best practices in concrete work
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Concrete Superintendent or in a similar supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of concrete processes, techniques, and materials
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in construction
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure
- A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred but not required
