Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality.
- Completes all site-specific training regarding safety and quality.
- Receives components or items for assembly and/or test in programmed sequence.
- Assembles and/or tests mechanical or electrical components by means of sensitive hand and equipment coordination.
- Assembles minor variations of in-house standard products.
- Follows clear assembly/test instructions, e.g. color code, pvc thermal welding and thread taping.
- Uses simple hand or power tools along with uncomplicated jigs and fixtures.
- Enters work hours in ERP system (Currently ShopVue)
- Completes required documentation related to production.
- Drives continuous improvement process and conducts daily housekeeping/5S audits to ensure continuous improvement activities.
- Reads and understands simple layout and assembly drawings.
- Maintains equipment and area in clean safe condition.
- Takes care of internal and external customer needs and expectations.

Experience Required for Your Success
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1–3 years of relevant work experience
- Mechanical aptitude as evidenced by work experience, high school/tech school coursework, hobbies, etc
- Ability to stand and work on your feet for up to 12 hours per shift
- Capable of performing hands-on tasks and manual labor safely and efficiently
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Must be able to climb and descend stairs
- Must be able to bend, carry, reach, push, and pull on an occasional basis
- Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing
- May work in areas where noise level is such that hearing protection is required
- May be exposed to varying amounts of dust and dirt
- Work surfaces may includeconcrete
- Employee must be able to operate a computer and communicate via telephone
