Job Title: Healthcare Food Service
Job Description
Responsible for effectively communicating with patients, staff, and guests of the hospital to ensure accuracy and timeliness of patient meal trays and floor stock. This role involves delivering meal carts to patient units, assisting in meal set-up at bedside, discarding soiled trays, taking inventory of nourishment areas, stocking these areas, and accurately operating technical equipment. Additionally, responsibilities include sanitation activities such as cleaning dishware and equipment, performing janitorial tasks, and cashiering in the cafeteria.
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and guests to ensure accurate and timely delivery of meal trays and floor stock.
- Deliver meal carts to patient units and assist in meal set-up at bedside.
- Discard soiled trays and maintain cleanliness in nourishment areas.
- Take inventory and restock nourishment areas as needed.
- Operate technical equipment accurately.
- Perform sanitation activities, including cleaning dishware and equipment, and conducting janitorial tasks.
- Handle cashiering duties in the cafeteria.

Work Environment
The position offers two shifts: 12pm - 8pm and 3pm - 11pm. The work environment is within a hospital setting, involving interaction with patients, staff, and guests. It requires wearing appropriate attire suitable for a healthcare and food service environment.

This is a Contract position based out of Tampa, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.62 - $17.62/hr.
