Job Description

I. General Statement of Responsibilities

Trouble shoot, analysis system/machinery from start to finish, do repair & assigned preventative maintenance.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Trouble shoot & repair of but not limited to: cutters, rubber mills, extruders, air makeup, press & controls, injection mold equipment, vulcanizers, deflashers, wash machines, chillers, boilers, hi-low pressure pumps. Must provide feedback (work orders-material usage via computer/verbal/notes, etc. as required to relay message). Must be willing to aid maintenance mechanic & PM maintenance personnel with problems they are not able or qualified to perform. Work closely with department supervisors & lead persons. Read manuals; follow company & manufacture maintenance instructions. Ability to maintain regular attendance record for required work schedule.

III. Special Qualifications, Education, License, Certification

Primary: Electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical.
Secondary: Forklift, plumbing carpentry & welding. Able to communicate effectively in English with or without a translator (speak, read and write legibly). Able to react to change product, be a self-starter, not requiring constant supervision. Positive attitude essential. Must be willing to work odd/after hours & respond if at all possible on weekend or other down times in cases of emergency or problems if they arise.
