Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Deliver specialized nursing care in a cardiac telemetry unit supporting patients recovering from advanced cardiac procedures. This contract opportunity is based in Derry, NH, offering an engaging clinical environment centered on patient-focused cardiac care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and care for patients post-TAVR, cardiac catheterizations, ablations, Watchman device implantations, cardiac drips, pacemakers, and cardioMEMS.
  • Utilize telemetry equipment for continuous cardiac monitoring.
  • Collaborate with charge nurses, patient care technicians, and monitor techs to maintain optimal patient ratios (1:4 day and night shifts).
  • Ensure thorough documentation using the Allscripts system.
  • Adhere to hospital-specific guidelines and maintain certifications, including Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Participate in scheduling every other weekend and float to similar cardiac units as needed.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active RN license with experience in telemetry nursing.
  • Proficiency in care of advanced cardiac patients, including familiarity with TAVR, ablations, Watchman implants, STEMI, pacemakers, and cardiac drips.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, technology-rich cardiac care environment.
