Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Providing specialized occupational therapy services in a school setting, this contract role involves delivering targeted support to students to enhance their educational experience and functional abilities. The position requires commitment of approximately 30 minutes per week during the 2026-2027 academic year and is located in Tracy, CA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized occupational therapy plans tailored to student needs
- Implement therapy sessions focused on improving students’ fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional participation in classroom activities
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate therapy goals within the academic environment
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans accordingly
- Provide recommendations and training to school personnel and families as needed
Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with valid credentials for practice
- Experience working in school-based occupational therapy settings
- Strong understanding of pediatric developmental milestones and school-related functional skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to commit approximately 30 minutes per week throughout the 2026-2027 school year
