What You'll Do
As a Delivery Driver, you will play an important role in supporting daily operations by safely transporting products and assisting with warehouse needs when not on the road.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Safely operating company vehicles, including vans, pickup trucks and box trucks.
- Delivering and picking up products, materials and supplies accurately and on time.
- Loading, unloading, securing and moving materials safely.
- Reviewing packing slips, manifests, invoices and route information to ensure accurate deliveries.
- Collecting delivery confirmations and required paperwork.
- Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Reporting maintenance, safety or delivery concerns promptly.
- Maintaining a clean and organized vehicle.
- Supporting warehouse operations with shipping, receiving, stocking, staging, labeling and order pulling.
- Helping maintain an efficient, safe and organized work environment.
- Other duties as required.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to safety. The ideal candidate will have:
- A valid California driver's license.
- A driving record that meets company insurance requirements.
- Prior experience in delivery driving, warehouse, shipping/receiving, logistics or manufacturing.
- Experience operating box trucks or commercial-style delivery vehicles preferred.
- Strong time management and communication skills.
- The ability to work independently while staying connected with the team.
- A professional, courteous approach when interacting with customers and coworkers.
- The ability to read delivery documents and follow instructions accurately.
- Basic math and recordkeeping skills.
Additional Requirements:
This is a hands-on role that requires movement throughout the day. Candidates must be able to:
- Regularly drive during scheduled shifts.
- Lift, carry, push and pull up to 60 pounds, with heavier team lifts as needed.
- Stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach and climb in and out of delivery vehicles.
- Work in warehouse and outdoor environments with varying temperatures and conditions.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
Schedule:
Part-Time: Schedule will be determined based on business needs. Shifts may range from 8 to 12 hours, with occasional additional hours or weekend work as needed.
