Full Job Description:

The Quality Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of quality control, quality assurance, and document control to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and industry standards (21 CFR 111, UDAF, HACCP, FSMA etc.) for dietary supplement manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution. The Quality Manager oversees developing, implementing and maintaining quality programs, policies and procedures.

Essential Job Functions:

· Compliance:

· Manage quality systems to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards from governments and third-party certification agencies. (cGMP/FDA, HACCP, Kosher, Organic, FSMA, NSF, TGA, etc.)

· Manager review and approval of MBRs and MMRs at each step of production process

· Assists with quality checks in production (including line clearances) when needed

· Documentation:

· Oversee document control functions.

· Responsible for ensuring Product Specification and COAs, and other documents are current and updated and cGMP SOPs are reviewed, and revised following revision control procedures.

· Support in writing, reviewing, and completing assorted questionnaires submitted by international customers.

· Support accuracy of inventory records through regular review and audit

· Testing:

· Manage and document product testing with third party laboratories in accordance with established specifications for incoming, in-process and finished goods.

· Investigating & Reporting: Management around non-conformances, CAPA reports, deviations, OOS testing, complaints, etc.

· Facility Compliance:

· Oversee sanitation and pest control programs.

· Audits:

· Perform regular internal audits and mock recall to ensure compliance with SOPs and applicable requirements and regulations. Participate in external audits as applicable.

· Training and Education:

· In conjunction with department managers, coordinate cGMP, SOP and replated employee training.

· Other/General:

· Perform other duties inherent of the position and any additional tasks required.

Qualifications Experience:

Minimum 5+ years' experience working in Quality in an FDA regulated industry (Nutraceuticals, Food or Pharma)
Regulatory/Third Party Audit Experience Required
21 CFR 111 Expertise
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe
Work independently with limited supervision

Education and Training:

BS or higher Sciences or Technical Degree
Must be GMP trained or Certified
Quality Certifications a plus (PCQI, CQA etc.)
Bilingual (Spanish) a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $92,000.00 - $104,000.00 per year
