Job DescriptionCrossroads, a highly respected nonprofit addiction and behavioral health treatment provider, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team.

Nurses in our program help clients navigate their path to recovery by working closely with our multidisciplinary medical & clinical teams, consisting of Psychiatry, CNAs and CRMAs, Registered Dietician, and Clinicians.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the admission process for clients being admitted to the Crossroads’ Residential Programs and Partial Hospitalization Program ensuring medical stability prior to or at admission.
  • Identifying client health issues that need monitoring or may interfere with treatment process and communicates this information with program staff.
  • Consulting with the Medical Director when needed for clients.
  • Preparing medical chart in preparation for client to be assessed by medical provider in the programs as needed.
  • Participating in the treatment team meeting and provides medical consultation on clients.
  • Ensuring all residential clients have Health & Physical exams.
  • Consulting with program staff in regard to client health and impact on the treatment process.
  • Assisting clinicians in developing treatment plans as needed in regard to addressing health related issues where appropriate.
  • Providing a safe and welcoming environment for newly admitted clients.
  • Educating program staff in universal precautions and infectious disease management.
  • Developing and maintaining positive relations with internal and external systems.
  • Maintaining inventory of medical supplies and replenishes as needed.
  • Representing, supporting, and communicating Crossroad’s philosophy and mission
  • Attends team meetings and provides support, feedback, and direction to the staff as needed
  • Models and supports the values and commitments of the organization

Desired Qualifications:

  • Graduate of accredited nursing program.
  • RN or LPN required; CARN preferred.
  • Certification in CPR, First Aid and Infant CPR required.
  • 5 years direct nursing experience, with chemical dependency experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of pharmacology, women’s health issues and knowledge of drug and alcohol use on health: ability to formulate and modify diagnoses, ability to utilize computer system.
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive interactions with clients and staff.


Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm.
