Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time, virtual Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) contract position supports a school district in Columbus, GA, with an assignment extending through May 21, 2026. The role requires strong organizational skills to manage direct therapy services, oversee Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), and handle critical documentation and communication related to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and attend IEP meetings, ensuring thorough preparation and follow-up documentation such as Review/Progress Reports (RDRs) and IEP writing
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students
- Supervise and collaborate with SLPAs to enhance therapy delivery
- Maintain timely and accurate daily logs and paperwork, adhering to district requirements for weekly submissions before timesheet approval
- Communicate effectively with educators, parents, and team members to support student progress
Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist License
- Valid Georgia Educator License
- Experience supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants preferred
- Proven ability to manage time efficiently and maintain reliability in a virtual work environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and planning
Location: Virtual position supporting a school district in Columbus, GA
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day), strictly within school hours
