We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and highly communicative hygienist to care for our patients with consummate customer service.
Requirements
- Training and certification as a RDH with CPR/First Aid certifications.
- Experience with sterilization protocols, treatment room set-up and turnover.
- Experience and comfort with all chairside hygiene skills: ultrasonic and hand scaling for debridement, prophylaxis, and SRP, taking digital x-rays and intraoral photos, computer charting for perio and restorative.
- Must be comfortable and skilled in patient and team communication skills, including patient education and oral hygiene instruction.
- Must be able to convey patient concerns in a consistent, polite, and professional manner to colleagues.
- Must love people and have the skills to handle the challenge and satisfaction of helping scared, frightened, or even angry patients become comfortable in the dental office.
- Must be highly trustworthy and ethical.
Preferred Skills
- Previous work experience preferred but not required.
- Comfort encouraging and assisting in compassionate patient care.
- Great verbal and written communication, as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
- Experience with hygiene applications of diode lasers.
- Experience with Dentrix and Dexis software.
