Job Summary: As an Inside Sales Associate - Building you will be responsible for various sales duties, but the main role is to support our Outside Sales Representatives selling hardware, building materials, and lumber to customers.
Pay for this Role: negotiable, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full-time, in-person job assisting contractor salesman with daily tasks.
- Develop a working knowledge of company products, procedures, culture, and customer service philosophy.
- Process receiving documents and match up invoices for payments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Answer telephone professionally and pleasantly.
- Listen to and assist customers.
- Assist with delivery of merchandise, if needed.
Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Previous construction or sales experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
- Ability to multitask and be detail oriented.
- Physical ability to lift and carry 80 pounds.
- Desire to learn and grow professionally.
- Ability to form strong professional relationships with customers.
- Ability to react quickly to problems and respond to them accurately and professionally.
- Ability to operate office equipment and excel experience preferred
- Friendly outgoing personality that enjoys working with people.
- Positive, punctual, and energetic attitude.
- Strong verbal skills.
- Organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
