Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk who will be responsible for managing the verification and processing of goods received, ensuring accuracy in inventory management, and maintaining the organization of receiving areas.
Responsibilities
- Compare received goods with packing slips, noting any shortages or damages.
- Create stock tickets for new inventory and determine proper packaging.
- Measure product dimensions using both metric and US systems as needed.
- Maintain a clean and orderly receiving area.
- Create records or enter data for inventory as required.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in inventory management and control.
- Experience in shipping and receiving processes.
- Ability to handle logistics and order selection.
- Skilled in operating a forklift.
- Competence in picking, packing, and material handling.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Attention to detail in verifying goods against packing slips.
- Ability to effectively manage data entry tasks.
- Strong organizational skills for maintaining receiving areas.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elizabethtown, KY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.75 - $20.75/hr.
