The Richard Rappa District Office for Farmers Insurance is seeking a driven, relationship-focused Talent Acquisition Specialist to help attract, and move top talent into opportunities across our district.
This is not a traditional back-office HR role. It is a great fit for someone who enjoys recruiting, networking, influencing, and building relationships. You will play an important role in sourcing candidates, conducting screenings, coordinating interviews, and building pipelines for future Agency Owners and Protgs - all while creating a strong candidate experience and keeping opportunities moving forward.

Responsibilities
What Youll Do
- Source and attract candidates through job boards, databases, referrals, networking, social media, and proactive outreach
- Review applicants, conduct initial screenings, and identify strong-fit candidates
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with district leadership and agency owners
- Communicate the Farmers opportunity in a compelling, professional, and accurate way
- Build and manage candidate pipelines for multiple roles across the district
- Track recruiting activity, candidate movement, and hiring results in recruiting platforms and spreadsheets
- Maintain timely follow-up with candidates throughout the hiring process
- Assist with licensing, onboarding coordination, and next-step communication as needed
- Attend occasional career events, networking functions, or recruiting-focused activities in the community
- Partner with district leadership to support recruiting goals and hiring priorities
What Success Looks Like
- Consistent sourcing and outreach activity each week
- Strong pipeline management and timely candidate follow-up
- Qualified candidates moving successfully through screening, interview, licensing, and onboarding stages
- Clear reporting on recruiting activity, conversion metrics, and hiring progress
- Positive candidate experience and professional representation of the Farmers brand
Requirements
- Recruiting, staffing, sales, business development, customer-facing, or talent acquisition experience preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable making outbound calls and initiating conversations
- Organized and able to manage multiple candidates and openings at once
- Self-motivated with strong follow-through and attention to detail
- Comfortable using applicant tracking systems, spreadsheets, and digital communication tools
- Professional presence with the ability to influence and build trust
- Insurance industry knowledge is a plus, but not required
- Licensing knowledge or experience supporting licensed positions is a plus
