Join our team as a Motor Assembly Technician where your attention to detail and craftsmanship will play a pivotal role in assembling small motors. Your work will contribute to producing thousands of motors annually, demanding precision and the ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and test electric motors using hand and power tools.
- Follow manufacturing test procedures and contribute ideas for process improvements.
- Read and interpret schematics and mechanical drawings for assembly.
- Perform electronic and/or mechanical assembly, including soldering, hand brazing, or induction brazing as needed.
- Rotate to different workstations based on production demands and assist with packaging and placing products on skids.
- Inspect and gauge finished parts, make tooling adjustments, and manage supplies and materials.
- Ensure accuracy of outside and unit labels on all packet parts.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas by conducting daily and weekly safety checks.
Essential Skills
- Electronic and/or mechanical assembly experience.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Experience with machine tool operations and production tooling and fixtures.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for the duration of shifts.
- Capability to bend, twist, and reach.
- Proficiency in English for reading, understanding, and communication.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- J-Standard certification is a significant advantage.
- Soldering skills are a plus but not mandatory.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Ulm, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.45 - $20.45/hr.
