Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking a Painter to support operations at the San Francisco VA Medical Center located at 4150 Clement Street, San Francisco, CA 94121. Responsibilities
- Install soft flooring systems, including LVT, VCT, and carpet
- Perform subsurface preparation for floors, walls, and ceilings prior to final finishes
- Perform painting work (brush and roller) at the journeyman level
- Install ceiling systems, including acoustic and hard‑lid ceilings with grid modifications
- Support general project tasks (materials handling, site control) up to 25% of total effort
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen to apply for this job
- Experience consistent with Davis‑Bacon classification PAIN0016‑012 (Painter)
- Ability to work independently under VA project direction
- English communication skills sufficient for daily coordination and customer interaction
- Completion of VA orientation, safety, and required training courses
- Background check and VA badge required
Position Pays: $30.71 - $36.26/hr
All candidates must be able to:
- Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
- Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
- Lift up to 20 lbs
- Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
- Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
