Client Relationship Specialist – Wealth Management
Pittsburgh, PA | Full-Time | On-Site (5 Days/Week) | $80,000–$100,000
We are a privately held, independent SEC-registered investment advisory firm based in Pittsburgh, PA. Since 1983, we have provided fee-only investment and wealth management services to individuals, high-net-worth clients, corporate entities, government organizations, and nonprofit institutions.
We are seeking a **mid-to-senior level Client Relationship Specialist (CRS)** to join our team in a **replacement role due to retirement**. This is a **career-level opportunity for an experienced wealth management professional** who can operate with a high degree of independence, precision, and client responsibility within a sophisticated advisory environment.
This role is best suited for a professional who is already established in investment advisory or wealth management operations and is seeking a long-term position with a stable, client-focused firm.
Responsibilities
* Serve as a key support partner to a senior advisor in managing high-net-worth client relationships
* Independently manage and resolve client service requests with accuracy and urgency
* Prepare, coordinate, and support client and prospect meetings, including pre-meeting data gathering and post-meeting documentation
* Maintain and update CRM and portfolio accounting systems with a high level of accuracy
* Oversee account administration including onboarding, maintenance, and complex paperwork processing
* Support quarterly client reporting and performance review preparation
* Execute and monitor investment and portfolio operations, including:
* Portfolio rebalancing and cash flow management
* Systematic investment programs (dollar-cost averaging)
* Tax-loss harvesting strategies
* Required minimum distributions (RMDs)
* Trust distribution calculations and reporting
* Charitable gifting and complex transfer requests
Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in wealth management, investment advisory, or private client services preferred
* Strong understanding of portfolio management, investment operations, and advisory compliance workflows
* Series 65 or Series 7 license preferred (or equivalent demonstrated industry expertise)
* Proven experience with custodial platforms, portfolio accounting systems, and CRM software (Tamarac strongly preferred)
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
* Strong judgment, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail in high-volume environments
* Ability to work independently while supporting a senior advisor relationship
* Excellent communication skills with both clients and internal stakeholders
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
