Experienced Cath Lab Technologist needed for interventional and diagnostic cardiology procedures in a hospital-based Cath Lab. The role includes scrubbing, monitoring, and equipment setup for coronary, peripheral, and EP procedures. Candidate will assist in diagnostic and interventional cases, including PCI, stent placement, pacemaker insertions, and vascular studies. Daily caseload is 8–12 patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and support diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations
- Assist with coronary, peripheral vascular, and electrophysiology procedures
- Scrub in, maintain sterile field, and manage equipment setup and monitoring
- Provide support for emergency procedures including Impella, temporary pacemakers, and thrombectomies
- Document accurately using Epic (preferred charting system)
- Participate in on-call rotation (up to 4 days/week as needed)
- Weekend rotation may include up to 2 weekends in a 6-week schedule
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including RT, PT, Pharmacy, and Social ServicesAx
