Our organization, a prominent and intricate VA facility located in the vibrant city of Tampa, Florida, is in search of a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Radiation Oncologist to become part of our committed and mission-focused team.
About the Role
This position presents a unique chance to deliver comprehensive radiation oncology services to Veterans across the nation within a collaborative and multidisciplinary setting. The chosen physician will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with both malignant and benign conditions that necessitate radiation therapy, while also engaging in tumor boards and interdisciplinary care planning.

Duties & Responsibilities

Administer external beam radiation therapy and other advanced treatment modalities

Collaborate with medical oncology, surgical teams, and specialty services to create personalized treatment plans

Engage in tumor boards and initiatives aimed at quality improvement

Provide clinical guidance and mentorship to trainees as needed

Ensure timely and precise documentation within CPRS/EMR systems
Qualifications
-
MD or DO degree from a recognized institution

Completion of an accredited residency in Radiation Oncology

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiation Oncology

Possession of an active, unrestricted medical license in the U.S.

U.S. citizenship is required
