At Interim HealthCare of Oklahoma City, we've been locally owned and serving this community since 1999. Our hospice team knows patients by name, and our Hospice Chaplain is an important part of that care.
Schedule
- Part time, per-visit role with flexible scheduling
- Daytime visits you plan around your own week
- No on-call requirement
- Participation in interdisciplinary group (IDG) meetings
What you'll earn
$25 per visit | $45 per spiritual assessment | Mileage reimbursement at $0.64/mile | Weekly pay every Friday

What you'll do
- Complete spiritual assessments for hospice patients and families and help build the spiritual portion of the plan of care
- Provide ongoing spiritual support, prayer, presence, and counsel based on each patient's beliefs and wishes
- Serve patients of all faith backgrounds, as well as those with none
- Coordinate with patients' own clergy and faith communities when requested
- Support families through end of life and into bereavement, including memorial services when needed
- Take part in IDG meetings with nursing, social work, and aide staff
- Document visits accurately and on time
What we're looking for
- Master of Divinity (M.Div.) required
- Ordination or endorsement from a recognized faith group preferred
- Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) units preferred
- Hospice, hospital, or healthcare chaplaincy experience preferred
- Comfort ministering across faith traditions with respect and without judgment
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
