- Do you thrive setting up CNC equipment and dialing in precision parts?
- Can you read complex blueprints and turn them into finished components?
- Are you the person who keeps machines running, quality tight, and records accurate?
What you will do
- Set up, run, and monitor CNC mills, lathes, and grinders, plus occasional manual machines.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and CAD to ensure all features meet spec.
- Select tools, fixtures, and materials; perform changeovers and make offset adjustments.
- Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and CMM; hold precise tolerances and document results.
- Conduct routine maintenance and promptly report mechanical issues.
- Collaborate with production and engineering to trim cycle times and boost efficiency.
- Keep a safe, organized work area; follow all safety procedures.
- Log quantities, material usage, and any deviations.
What you bring
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
- 2–3 years of machining experience in a production environment; CNC programming exposure is a plus.
- Hands-on capability with CNC and manual machines; strong print reading; quality mindset.
- Basic G-code familiarity preferred; problem-solver with strong attention to detail; team-oriented and self-directed.
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
